Characteristics of tension clamp
The outer armor rods of tension clamp are connected to poles or towers to bear load. The inner armor rods are mainly used to protect the covering of the cables: (1)avoid to damage the cables covering; (2)transfer tensile force; (3)The tension clamp has greater interface with cables. Stress is distributed equally without stress focus. Under the condition of not exceeding the intensity of cable's side pressure, the grip power for the cables is not less than 95% of the rated tensile strength of the optical cable, meanwhile causing no damage to the cable. The smooth shape of the ends improve the discharging voltage and reduce the loss of electric power. The superior aluminum alloy materials improve the cables'mechanical performance and corrosion resisting capability.
